There are 6 different 15" blocks including modified "Storm at Sea" and "Star of North Carolina" blocks which require included templates. A beautiful repeating stripe borders the quilt and the smaller stripe (that looks a bit like ikat) is also used in piecing Block #1. Since there are blocks with templates and slightly challenging construction, this project may be best-suited for quilters with moderate skills or for very confident beginners who are ready to build skills.
