Spring Location: Ten Sisters Workshop & Trunk Show featuring Carmen Geddes
Carmen Geddes of Ten Sisters will be joining us for a one day workshop here in Spring to teach her one of a kind quilt piecing technique! This technique is truly amazing! Using printed, fusible grid you will create your own special keepsake quilt in a fraction of the time as compared to traditional piecing.
There will be two patterns to choose from using the 2 1/2" fusible grid. You will need to purchase or bring your favorite fabrics or choose a fabric kit with the fusible grid included. Jelly Rolls also work great for this technique!
Pattern names are: Patchwork Village and Pretty Patchwork for the Spring Store
Grid panels in other sizes such as 1.5" and 1" finished will be available for purchase as well as Carmen's beautiful books with lots of gorgeous quilts to make.
There will be a Trunk Show on display for the workshop and a short presentation by Carmen to share with us how she came to invent this unique technique to create beautiful quilts. She will also be demonstrating how to create half square triangles with the fusible grid.
Lunch from Lynn's Table is included with the workshop as well as beverages and dessert. (Did someone say chocolate?)

| Skill Details: | All skill levels are welcome in this class! We ask that you have a good working knowledge of your sewing machine and basic sewing skills! |
| Materials Included: | Trunk Show, Class instruction with Carmen and lunch! Fusible Grid kits are purchased separately. |
| Requirements: | Please bring your sewing machine in good working order, foot pedal and power cord. Basic sewing notions and a very good pair of small, pointed-end scissors, rotary cutter and mat, iron, and pressing sheet. A comprehensive supply list will be furnished upon registration. |

| Instructor Bio: | Carmen brings her love of quilting and people together for a fun and low-key approach to quilting techniques. She has developed the Tensisters Piping Tool and Easy Piecing Grid. She is the author of three companion books, "Ten Quilts for Ten Sisters", "Quilts for Kids", and "Seven Brothers Block Party". She has five children and eleven grandchildren and resides in Eagle Mountain, Utah with her husband Patrick. |
