Beginning Applique Composition Notebook Cover

Class Kit included in class fee:

The instructor will bring a variety of tools that she uses when appliquéing for each of you to try out.

Supply list for Students to bring to class:

Composition Book Cover Supplies One (1) Fat quarter for appliqué and book cover, recommend low volume print
One (1) Fat quarter for book lining, recommend white or cream (this fabric will not be seen)
½ yard medium weight fusible interfacing

Appliqué Supplies

Fabric for appliqué shapes – approximately 10 to 12 scraps or 5” charm squares for flowers, flower center, leaves, stem and vase/pot
Paper scissors
Fabric scissors – recommend small to medium scissors to cut out fabric
Small iron – Conair EZ Press 800 Watt (Amazon) is what Instructor will be using in class
Ironing surface - Omnigrid Foldaway cutting & ironing mat (not a wool pressing mat) is what Instructor will be using in class
Roxanne’s Glue
50 weight thread to match flower fabric
