How to Upcycle a Sweatshirt into a Tote Bag with Your Serger and a Sewing Machine OR with Your Serger Coverstitch Machine!
The Bernina L890 or Bernette b68 is the machine for this project! It makes this project sew easy!! If you do not have a combo serger/coverstitch machine, you may bring a serger and a sewing machine to achieve the finished project.

| Requirements: | You have to own your own serger, and sewing machine or combo machine such as the L890 or the Bernette b68 and know how to use it. This is not a guide class. Your machine aslo has to be in good working order. We do not have time within the class to repair a machine. You will be sent an email with the instructions and the supply list. There might be things to purchase and/or prepare before you come to the class. This is important to read through the email and the supply list. |

| Instructor Bio: | Gypsy has been sewing on Berninas since 2013 and has been teaching since about 2014 for guide classes and technique classes. She also embroiders on machines and uses sergers and coverstitch machines. She has been sewing over 60 years and several years spent sewing (and acting and singing) in theatre groups all over. Her joy is sewing and helping people learn how to sew. |
