Spring Location: Basic Beginner Block Bonanza with Kathy Tucker



Are you anxious to begin quilting but don't know where to begin?  This four week course will teach the basic skills needed to complete a stunning quilt project; either a wall hanging, table topper or a table runner.  Kathy will teach a new block technique each week in a supportive and positive enviornment.  Students will develop specific skills associated with the art of quilt making such as rotary cutting, piecing, block design, and quilt history.

Students will need to purchase their fabric and supplies for the course separately.

Please note - a 15% discount is available to students that purchase their supplies specifically for the class at either Cupcake Store location.

Lunch is not included.  Feel free to bring your lunch or visit one of the many restaurants in the area.  There is a refrigerator, microwave and ice machine in the classroom available for your use!

Classroom instruction. Supplies purchased separately.
Requirements:
The student must be familiar with basic sewing skills. Bring your sewing machine in good working order, foot pedal and power cord. Be sure to have a new needle in your machine for class. A complete supply list will be furnished upon registration.

Kathy Tucker is a Certified Laura Heine Instructor and and Certified Longarm Quilter. As a long- time educator with children and in higher education, she specializes in classes that are inspiring and educational while meeting the needs of each individual and skill level. With over 35 years in the art of quilt making, her classes provide beginner to advanced students with new and exciting skills in a positive and supportive atmosphere.
