Spring Location - Serger Project - Quilt as You Go Baby Quilt on Your Serger!



Did you ever think you could make a quilt on your serger? You can! This one is quilt as you go. It is a quick and easy process ending with a lovely baby quilt to gift to a waiting mom. If you own a serger you can do this quilt easily. If you own the L890 or a serger and a coverstitch machine you can add other stitches to the quilt. Join us to learn the techniques to do this adorable baby quilt. As I finish my sample I will post it. These are the fabrics!

Skill Details:
Beginner to intermediate level for making this baby quilt. You will need to know how to use your machine, how to thread for different stitches, and how to cut with a rotary cutter for strips and such.

Class instruction and pattern
Requirements:
You need to own a serger and/or a Coverstitch machine or a combo machine and have a working knowledge of how to use it. This is not a guide class to teach you how to use your machine.

Gypsy has been sewing most of her life, taught by her maternal grandmother, working in community theatre companies making costumes, sewing for friends and family. In the last few years she has taught the guide classes for Bernina machines and enjoys helping customers learn their machines to take them to new levels of sewing!
