Over 40 years ago, Mary made her first quilt from leftover scraps from
garment sewing and backed it with a purchased blanket. She continued
making quilts, but did not like finishing them on her domestic sewing machine.
With the HQ Simply Sixteen and a Pro-Stitcher, she loves finishing
her quilts using both Pro-Stitcher and free motion techniques.
Mary has taught different aspects of sewing for over 20 years. She has enjoyed
focusing her teaching skills toward the art of quilting, and is excited to have
joined Handi Quilter as an Educator.
