What to expect/prepare for class:

We will use every minute of this class to complete your clutch, so please have your materials selected and hardware purchased prior to the start of class.   Please download/print (at “actual size” rather than let your printer make adjustments to fit to scale) the instructions/pattern and have the pattern pieces cut out prior to class to help expedite the cutting materials portion of the class.  Also it is helpful to read through the pattern to familiarize yourself with the general construction process.  I don’t expect it will all mean something, but it’s still good to review prior to class.

Instructor Name:
Sandy Harvey
Instructor Bio:
I have been quilting/embroidering/sewing since 1998 with a great deal of my experience in quilting. I began making handbags/wallets in March of 2019 and have made well over 100 from over 50 different patterns including 10 of my own design patterns. I have worked with cotton, upholstery fabrics, vinyl, faux leather, marine vinyl, cork, and leather of various thicknesses. All this has rounded my experience as a bag maker, but in no way made me an expert. I still learn every day! So, while I may lead this class, we will all be learning together. And no question is ever a dumb question, so please ask so that we might all learn from the answer.
